Brenton and freezing Kentucky!

As we all know....there are some big storms hitting Kentucky. Brenton has been without power in his barracks and on the base he is at for a few days now. Yesterday they all had to stay in their "racks" (beds) all day! How boring. Can't plug in their cell phones because of the power. The "chow hall" (cafeteria) is without power too. So they have been eating MRE's! I keep telling Brenton it could be worse. I think all the guys are starting to get frustrated though. If the storms continue they may have to add days onto his training cycle and will graduate later than March 24th! Which I definetaly don't want to happen! I want him home so bad! But please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He is fighting a big cold right now too. I don't think he body is use to the extreme cold that he facing right now! I love you Brenton. Hang in there! Just remember sunny SoCal, your wife, "itty bitty", and Hurley are at home waiting for you!

I just had to post this pic! This is Hurley sleeping on my belly. He loves to do this! I swear dogs know when their mommies are pregnant. He is so sweet and gentle with my belly! He is going to be a great "babysitter" when the baby comes! I love my little man Hurley! BTW...he just turned one on Jan. 17th! He is really no longer my little puppy!

So I decided I would post two pics that I took from my phone! I somewhat feel silly for posting belly pics, mostly because my belly is still little. But...I enjoy taking pics and sending them to Brenton. My flat tummy and abs are gone!!! I already can't wait to hit the gym hard after this baby comes to get them back. Brenton and I think it might be a good idea to plan to do another figure show afterwards...it would be a good goal! I have to get back in shape for the Navy anyways! haha! Whatever that is! I know you are laughing Brenton. Anyhoo...as it grows I will post some more pics. Enjoy!

We are expecting!

Hey everybody! Thank you Shannon for helping me make my page nicer...I will be definately changing stuff around and playing with it more, but I am so much happier and will be blogging more now that I feel my page is so much prettier! haha. Anyhoo...Brenton and I are expecting are very FIRST bundle of joy in July. We have named "it"..."itty bitty" for now. I am currently 13 weeks and 4 days pregnant. My belly is finally showing (well alittle obviously), but I am so happy to see it growing. Right now Brenton is currently in Fort Knox, Kentucky completing Tank School for the Marines. He will be home around the end of March. This is the final stretch to all his training and we are planning on him being home for a while when he gets home. I am really looking forward to that. As for me, I am working LOTS! I am exhausted when I come home, but I am hanging in there. On February 17th, I am transitioning down to the Labor and Delivery floor and will be working down there. It is my turn to go and I am really excited about that. It is something I have been waiting for! I have always wanted to be an L&D nurse! Our little puggle pup just turned one on January 17th! I was hoping to be able to celebrate with him on that day...but he was a bad boy and got disciplined instead!:( haha! Now much else is new. My dad is in town for a couple weeks to help me move. Brenton and I are currently moving into my parents house in Oceanside. They moved to Okinawa, Japan and needed someone to rent their house! It all ended up working perfect for everyone! We have a spare guest room and would love visitors! Hope everyone had an awesome New Year and talk to you soon! I will post some pics soon!
